Cross-Indicator Analytics
Correlation between two indicators, with its full provenance.
How calculated
Spearman rank correlation is the default because index distributions are bounded, ordinal-derived, and non-normal. Pearson is available as a deliberate secondary choice and is labelled as one.
Cross-provider correlation requires common-year mode. In latest-available mode each source reports its own most recent year, and pairing them would report a relationship between different periods, so the analysis is refused rather than annotated.
Raw provider values are the default basis. Direction-aligned values are available, and the basis is stated on this panel, on the axes, and in the provenance line.
